so I cant deny it any longer,my birthday next month is the big 40 and initially I was gonna just let it be another day,after the past two birthdays being hellish thanks to my ex who can blame me eh? but after my mates working on me and having a good night at a club Ive decided to go for it and embrace being 40,odd looking back to when I was 20 and saying Id be dead by forty cos its ancient.....doesnt feel that way now,I feel more alive than I ever have and going out and having fun again and being happy is pretty cool,anyways im going to be going out partying and even tho your all miles away to those of you who know me on here and that I like and I hope you know who you are you are all invited........

The blessings of your 40's you learn how to just say f*** it! You figure out what you don't tolerate anymore. You know what you need and hopefully have learned how to get it. You can see through the bs. You've probably lost a lot by now and realize what is important to you. You know your limits. YOU KNOW YOUR STRONG OR YOU WOULDN'T STILL BE HERE! ROCK ON DUDIE!

I would love to D ... but I can't my sister's birthday is also in April and I am required and requested to be there for that ... or life as we know it could be very unpleasant ... and there is a Regina Spektor concert at the Opera House .. but next year may be do-able :-)

LOL my 40th is end of May! Happy Birthday! I'll be avoiding the family and hanging out with a couple pals at a pub if possible. NO great scene here, would rather celebrate it in a mosh pit, personally...short of that anything but a dull one. Even if I wind up like usual alone and swilling a few ales and listening to decent music at a pub its better thgan a family get together. If Im gonna be 40, Im gonna listen to LOUD and fast music, dammit!
